ISO TC 197/TC 22 Joint Working Group 5 to Meet in France

ISO TC 197/TC 22 Joint Working Group 5 on the subject of hydrogen refueling connectors will meet on February 21-22, 2005 in Annecy Le Vieux, France. Staubli has graciously offered to provide WG 5 members a tour of their facility on the morning of February 23, 2005. As you may be aware, the ISO/DIS 17268 document was approved as a DIS under the ISO Fast Track Procedure. All editorial changes that were agreed to by the Working Group were included in the text. The document has been forwarded to the ISO Central Secretariat for editing prior to its circulation as an FDIS. The editing committee work should be complete by February 6, 2005.

The purpose of the two day meeting is to review the technical issues that were deferred for the next revision of the standard. In other words, even though the technical changes will be introduced after the standard is published, the Working Group has agreed to continue working on the document to resolve these technical issues.

Working Group members who plan to participate should contact the Convenor, Livio Gambone before January 21, 2005 if they have not already done so.
