NFPA Update and January Meeting Minutes

The minutes (106Kb PDF) from the January 25, 2005 joint meeting of The Hydrogen Coordinating Group and The NFPA Fire Research Foundation are available. NFPA reports that the meeting was extremely productive and showed several areas where the NFPA Fire Research Foundation can help develop these needed safety requirements.

The Hydrogen Coordinating Group will have a teleconference in March to discuss the results of this meeting and NFPA Codes and Standards activities related to hydrogen technologies. In addition, the NFPA Fire Research Foundation will be presenting a symposium on safety issues related to hydrogen technologies at NFPA World Congress in June of this year to be held in Las Vegas, NV. Please see the related article as well as the general NFPA web site for details on this meeting.
