Season's Greetings from the National Hydrogen Association!
by Brian Schorr
National Hydrogen Association
The NHA family wishes you and yours a safe, happy, and healthy
holiday season and joyous New Year! As we head into 2005,
the Hydrogen Safety Report will continue to bring you technical
information on hydrogen codes and standards activities in
the United States and around the world.
Stay
tuned for updates on future NHA Codes and Standards Workshops
and Safety Short Courses. Mark your calendar for the National
Hydrogen Associations 16th
Annual Hydrogen Conference and Hydrogen Expo USA in Washington,
DC from March 29-April 1, 2005. A complete list of Codes and
Standards Events currently planned for the NHA Annual Conference
2005 are found in the Did You Know?
article of this newsletter edition. The Report
Calendar will also be updated regularly announcing upcoming
Codes and Standards meetings, conferences, and code hearings.
As we begin 2005 you will also see a new face to the Report,
with a revised front index page that is easier to navigate.
A special Technical
Resources section has been added with reference
materials to provide users with a one-stop webpage of important
safety, codes and standards documents. (Click
here for the related article in this month's Report) Finally,
users will notice a new look to the emails announcing each
months edition. The emails will be made to resemble
the new front index page so as to avoid potential confusion
when clicking back and forth between the email and the website.
We hope that these modifications will make the Report more
convenient and easier to use. One thing that will not change
is our desire to bring you a quality report on technical information
in a timely manner.
As always, please tell us what else you would like to see
in the Hydrogen Safety Report in 2005. Call or email Patrick
Serfass, Technical and Program Development Coordinator with
your ideas or suggestions. We are eager to hear from you!
