The Hydrogen Safety Report is published monthly by the National Hydrogen Association. It is funded by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy. This electronic newsletter is published monthly, and posted online for open access. In addition, over 200 interested parties receive e-mail notification when the newsletter is posted. The Hydrogen Safety Report contains information on international standards, U.S. national standards, national code activities, regulatory issues and industry guidelines related to hydrogen energy systems. The purpose is to keep NHA members, subscribers, and other key stakeholders informed of the activities ongoing in the development of codes and standards being created to assure safety and performance for emerging hydrogen energy systems. It is not designed to cover non-hydrogen specific activities that other organizations are already reporting, except where hydrogen safety issues are included.
